Introduction In Ontario, Canada, paramedics use the Field Trauma Triage Standard to identify patients at risk for severe injury. These triage criteria encompass physiologic, anatomic, mechanism of injury, and special considerations that should be transported directly a trauma center. Patients meeting any one these mandate direct transfer This study evaluated whether severely injured underwent an interfacility met criteria. The secondary objective was assess impact failed application on in-hospital mortality. Methods is retrospective cohort transfers adult center over 3-year period were either admitted intensive care unit, received operation within 4 h arrival, or died 48 arrival. Data abstracted from hospital’s registry chart review electronic medical records. Frequency pre-hospital which specific collected.
